DJ, MC and entertainer — one person
At Team Brasa the person who announces your entrance, runs the speeches and hosts the key moments is the same person who then takes the DJ booth. No hand-over in the middle of the night, and one contact from the first email to the last song.
We host in English, Portuguese and French. Not line-by-line translation — the same energy and humour, adapted to who is listening.
Where the experience comes from
Guga Brasa, founder of Team Brasa, spent years as an entertainer in resorts and on international cruise ships — including Sea Cloud — hosting rooms where many nationalities share the same night. He has been working the Portuguese wedding market since 2019. That is the room-reading we bring to your destination wedding: games, interaction and group moments that work across languages, and music that crosses borders.
Working with your planner
If you have a wedding planner or a production team, we coordinate with them: a planning call before the day, a timeline agreed to the minute, and replies in English throughout. Most of the preparation happens by email and video call — you do not need to be in Portugal to plan it.
Sound, light and effects
Professional sound for the ceremony, speeches and party, lighting, and optional effects for the key moments. The set-up scales with the venue — quinta, hotel, beach club or palace.
Frequently asked questions
Can the whole wedding be hosted in English?
Yes. If most of your guests speak English, that is the main language on the microphone, with Portuguese or French where it helps.
Do you play Portuguese music too?
If you want it — a touch of Portugal for guests who want to feel where they are celebrating, alongside the international music your crowd knows.
Do we need to meet in person before the wedding?
No. Planning is done by email and video call, with a final call close to the date to lock in the details.
How much does it cost?
